About The Prairie Lily Curling League:

We began in 2014 with a group of 5 curlers and their friends who wanted to start Saskatchewan's first LGBTQ + Straight Friendly curling league. With the dedication of these original five, other volunteers and community leaders we were able to form the Prairie Lily Curling League and have our first season, curling out of the Nutana Curling Club. The first season was a tremendous success with 8 teams (34 members) and several other casual players we were able to enjoy a fun and friendly curling atmosphere. We are looking forward to continuing our growth and success with our 5th season starting fall 2018.

We curl every Sunday at 4:30pm out of the Nutana Curling Club. After our games our members are encouraged to come upstairs to enjoy a beverage or snack with your teammates and/or opponents. Curling is a super social sport, did you know curlers invented the pre-game beverage and the post game beverage? And sometimes even the game is happening now beverage!

Gay Curling In Canada:

Did you know Canada has a thriving LGBTQ + straight friendly curling community with leagues in other major cities coast to coast (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and St. John's). We are proud to have our league be a member of this great group of LGBTQ + Straight Friendly curling leagues. Being apart of one of these leagues means that you will be a part of a larger curling community and once a year come together, for the Canadian Gay Curling Championship.
